Say, I was down at the local CVS drug store today (getting meds for my knees and foot muscles) and while waiting for my meds to be filled, I noticed some nice camp shoes.? They are made in Commie China and are inexpensive.? They weight 4.5 ounces for each black sandal in size 10-11.? Not bad at all.? Very comfortable too with a thick sole to give you very good protection walking around camp looking for bears, etc.

They are made of that super light foam material.? The sole has small dots to massage the bottom of your foot as you walk.? They just slip on and off without adjusting straps, etc.? The are called Doggers.

I like a sandal around camp after walking all day out on the trail.? They might be good for longer stream crossings if you put a light Velcro strap around the sole and the top of the foot.? That should be no problem.? Over the years, since I started hiking in the Sierras, when the last Ice Age glaciers were retreating and we chased hot Neanderthal babes, I have had problems finding a good super light camp shoe.? This one is not bad.
