[pct-l] fuel resupply questions

Hi all,
 
I will be using my simmerlite stove on the trail this year.  Mostly I plan to resupply in towns along the way . . . I'm wondering, for those who have done the PCT before, were you able to get fuel resupplies fairly easily?  I'm also worried about stores only selling those really large coleman fuel cans -- I don't want to be carrying a lot more fuel than I need for any given hitch!  What have your experiences been in dealing with this issue?
