yeh I sent emails to them asking how long after arrival I could stay before I get kicked out b/c I am visiting a friend in Canada after the hike...they just kept emailing me back (a week later) that I had to put my reason for entry on the app...eyes rolling. It took about a month to get mine back...u should be getting it soon. I'm still waiting for my passport...good thing we're not leaving yet eh?

I sent my Canadian entry permit in over a month ago, and I still haven't
gotten anything back.  Is it normal to have to wait this long?  I don't
think I have anything in my background that would raise any red flags.

Anyway, I'm wondering what to do next.  Does anyone know if there's a phone
number where I could talk to someone up there who can tell me what's going
on?  Or should I just send in another permit application?
