[pct-l] April 1st Sierra Snow Conditions

The long awaited Sierra snow conditions are in! Yes, 2 days early since the 
weather is sooo nice and will continue to be.

Percent of April 1st average, 48 hours early:

72% Casa Vieja Meadows
55% Upper Tyndall Creek
90% Charlotte Lake
56% Tuolumne Meadows

All SWE values taken directly from cdec.water.ca.gov (Mar 30/April 1st AVG) 
x 100 = %

So what does this all mean?

Well, it appears you lucky northbounders will have a bit less snow to deal 
with than normal. Obviously, much still depends on the melt-off over the 
next 2 months.

This far out it appears no obscene amounts of snow will be encountered, 
which will make those daily miles come a bit easier if not less scenic.
