ok, I dont get the whole "quilt" thing. Seems any kind of a "quilt" would be really heavy to carry and make anything other than car camping a drag. Maybe you could define quilt. Most likely what your calling it and what im thinking are two different things. my guy recentley took two climbing ropes and knotted them into a huge cargo net. We were having these crazy ideas to climb the giant redwoods at Kings Cayon Sequoia and hang a tree house a few hundred feet above the tourist. when he's done with the PCT I'm def gonna show him these post, think we would really be into it!
