I won't debate the pros or cons of guns in national parks or anywhere else,
but this proposed legislation doesn't automatically guarantee anyone the
right to carry a gun in a national park.  Instead, it allows the state in
which the park is located to regulate firearms in the park as it sees fit.
So if, for example, the state of California doesn't want people carrying
guns in its national parks, the state is free to pass a law to that effect
(if it doesn't have one already).
