[pct-l] Transportation Ideas from LA / San Juan Capistrano

Hey PCTers...
 
This is Splash and I had to get off trail for a couple of weeks to let an injury heal. I'm trying to figure out how to get from the LA area or from San Juan Capistrano back to the trail at or near Kennedy Meadows / Lone Pine.
 
Any suggestions???  I've been rolling around the internet here and I'm not coming up with much.  Not being from California, I'm not entirely sure where I am right now ;)
