I have yet to do a long distance hike that does not include some rain, snow, or wind. Sometimes all three and at hurricane force. Nothing like trying to setup a tarp in a 50mph wind. Burrito Boy should have been my trail name. :) The main thing is to know yourself and your gear and how to best use each in the worst of conditions.
