It is with tremendous sadness that I report to this community that our own
beloved Reinhold narrowly missed becoming this years recepient of the 
nobel peace prize.  Reinhold's contributions to hiking, this list, etc., were 
slightly overshadowed by President Obama's contributions to world peace.

To the gate keepers of the list I offer my apology for being off topic and promise
to slap myself just as soon as I hit the send button.
