Bayou, I assume you mean start a sb hike TO Campo, not FROM Campo. All of the mountains in SoCal can be covered in heavy snow through March and well into April. The forecast is for an El Nino this winter so we may have a ton of snow locally. You should have a flexible schedule and plan for late spring at the earliest for a sb hike. Handyrock
