[pct-l] Desolation Wilderness in late September?

I'm brand new to the list and apologize if this is a topic that has already
been covered recently. I'm considering a 4 or 5 day trek in CA from Hwy 50
to I-80 at the end of this month. I'm wondering what sort of weather
conditions I should prepare for? My other experience on the PCT has been
farther north in July and August, so I'm not familiar with autumn
backpacking yet.
