[pct-l] station fire

I will further the speculation by anticipating a PCT closure from Three 
Points to Soledad Canyon, since these are the two road crossings closest 
to the fire line.  41 miles is a lot of trail to clean up, so it could 
take a long time.  Fortunately the forest has Adventure Pass money to 
use, which hopefully helps fund the repair work.  Besides the down 
trees, there will be a lot of erosion in years to come.  When the PCTA 
volunteer crews are finally allowed back in there will be some major 
work to do.  And the loss of shade on this portion is a real blow, since 
it can be quite hot during the thru hike season.  We hiked 85 miles of 
section D one year during spring break (last week of March) and 
experienced 100 degree temps from North Fork Ranger Station to Soledad 
Canyon.
