Yep.  In 2006 I holed up in the hotel in Mt. Laguna for the night during an ice/snow storm. The next morning we  woke to a couple inches of snow on the ground and ice covered trees.  We hiked out from Pioneer Mail and ran into gale force winds near that overlook. This was just a few days before the kickoff.
