Continue with your plans. Don't worry about it too much but keep tracking conditions. You have three weeks or more until you would hit the first potential problem on San Jacinto. Between now and then conditions may change a lot and you should have access to more recent information by then. Don't stress too much about conditions encountered many weeks before you get there. You may still end up taking an alternate route but wait until you can access the situation yourself. Just be prepared to be flexible.
