I wore my shoes out just before the kickoff. Rolled the dice and went with
a whole new brand. Silly I know, but it worked. In the past I have tried most
major brands. The moment I put these on my world changed. This is what
shoes should feel like. Great support in the arch and heal. Wiggle room
for my toes. Available in half sizes above 12. They have a river
running version, I wonder how the would work in the Sierras?
 
I have gone to the dark side and paid way to much for a pair of shoes. Now
I just need to see if the extra $ will pay for itself in durability. I'm sure others
have boasted the advantages of adventure racing shoes here before. But now I'm
wearing Salomon shoes.
