[pct-l] Portland->PCT transportation options

Hello -- I'm heading to Portland next weekend to start a little  
southbound jaunt along the PCT.  Hoping to take public transportation  
to Cascade Locks (or, preferably, to the Eagle Creek trailhead) but  
haven't discovered any.  Does anyone know of any good options for  
getting to the trail from Portland?  Any other tips for a reasonably  
experienced hiker who's never been on the PCT before?  Any must-see or  
must-avoid trailside wonders in Oregon?  Thanks, slowace
