[pct-l] Thru hikers for 2011

Neil,
 i started 2 weeks before kickoff in 2010,

and most people with me just got a ride back to kickoff from either scissors 
Xing or warner springs... i imagine some made it as far as idylwild,

i didn't go to kickoff,  never intended to, but got about 15 offers for rides 
back and then onto the trail form where i left.  it should be real easy if you 
ant to go to kickoff to start early anyway.  especially from warner springs, 
there were outright shuttles taking groups of people there and back

the section between warner springs and idyllwild was wonderfully solitary as the 
thru hikers were almost all at KO.

count me in as i will definetely hiking and hopefully reaching canada with
any luck. any thoughts on the kickoff, i wanto to go but it is late and not
sure of hitching back from warner springs or another place. any thoughts on
other plans?
