[pct-l] Calif Section N at end of March/early April??

Might there be someone on the list the would know...  what is the situation 
w/re Hat Creek Rim the last week of March/the first week of April (in terms 
of snow on the ground)? In looking at old weather data for that area it 
looks like the nights are in the 20's and the days in the upper 40's. What I 
can't tell is if there tends to still be snow on the ground, or is that a 
year to year question. From looking at the Lassen south entrance webcam 
http://www.nps.gov/webcams-lavo/kyvc_webcam1.jpg it looks like there is 
currently maybe 2' of snow on the ground. In looking at the webcam at the NW 
entrance to Lassen http://www.dot.ca.gov/dist2/cctv/lassen/lassen.jpg 
there's maybe 6". How do these views related to what one might find from 
OldStation up through Burney Falls?
