[pct-l] Half Dome permits required

You can ONLY get half dome permits online. They do hold some for backpackers but even those are expected to go fast on weekends.

SFGate has an article: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2010/02/10/BAE11BUUF9.DTL detailing new permit requirements for Half Dome on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. There is a permit office near the trail in Tuolomne Meadows.
