"An alternative to goose down is kitten feathers. The best is the fine
soft fur behind the ears. I recommend wearing gloves when you pluck
them, kitties don't always like this and their claws are sharp.
Harvesting kitten feathers from mountain lion cubs is not recommended."


Its much more humane if you harvest the byproduct feathers from the kitten meat industry.
