[pct-l] Iodine as water treatment?

So I'm wondering if others have Thru-hiked the PCT with Iodine as their sole
source of water treatment. I've hiked the AT with just iodine and thinking
about doing the same for the PCT.

Any thought would be wonderful especially if you have done the PCT with it.
