yeh his maps are copywrited...so no one else can do that and no he didn't intend on them being published b/c they are FREE! to everyone. He's an awesomely nice guy...I think he would carry ur pack for u if u were nice enough back..I don't know for sure...but I'm thinkin maybe...hehhee

When you prepare content for Lulu, they tell you how much the printing and shipping costs are.  You can 'sell' the book on Lulu at no additional cost.  In that scenario, you are simply paying Lulu for the printing and shipping.  I don't see how that is any different than walking down to the local copy shop with the maps on a USB drive and paying them to print them.  It doesn't seem 'wrong' to me that the copy shop makes some money or if Lulu makes some money in this scenario. 

If you added something to the cost @ Lulu, then I think you might be violating the spirit and probably the law with respect to TOPO's copyrights and Halfmile's intentions.  Of course Halfmile might have a different perspective and I'm not a lawyer.
