[pct-l] thru hiking aussies and dubious posting success

hey i can't tell if i'm posting successfully or not - is there a trick? i
attempt to post to pct-l at backcountry.net and nothing much happens...

i'm wondering if there are any aussies out there who have completed a thru
hike of the pct. i'm contemplating a 2011 attempt and am pretty keen to chat
to a local (aussie) about it...
