[pct-l] OT: Hiking the California Coastal Trail

Greetings,

I'm thinking of starting a hike in late February (if my feet are okay). I had thought of heading east to the AT. But. Then I thought, "Why not start at the US/Mexico border and hike the Coastal Trail?"

I am looking for information from experienced CCT hikers off list.
