[pct-l] Tahoe conditions

Up here in Crescent City, 20 miles south of Oregon and on the coast;
we've had intermittent rain squalls with lots of wind. Had some wind
last night. Seems to me most of the weather action is going south of us.

This noon I was out doing errands and got caught in a squall.

Time I got home and had lunch, the squall was past. I'm hoping to take
out my two backpacking tents, a Tarptent Contrail and a Stephenson
Warmlite 2RS and put them up in the wind and rain, get inside, and see
how well they do. Would like to give each a good test.
