Similar issues with the CDT, but Goat Haunt on Waterton Lake is an 
official US Customs station. All hikers are supposed to report to 
it when hiking from the Waterton side of Wateron-Glacier. 
Less than 5 miles by trail from the Border. 

I guess the US Govt could set up something 
similar for PCT SoBos. Have a US Customs guy campout in the woods with a satellite 
hookup to process passports? ;-)
