Just heard from 3 hikers who left with a big group on June 25th heading
south from Manning Park. Everyone has gotten off the trail. One had frost
bite and the others were not into the extreme mountaineering trek. the 3
will be here in Baring in a couple hours and will be posting their travels
here on line. Apparently the hikers got a ride from a local Sheriff near
Harts Pass to the town of Arlington west on I-5. The Sheriff will be
bringing them to our place today.

The plans for now include staying here a couple days and then skipping down
to Ashland, OR to resume their hike north.
