[pct-l] It Kinda sucks

True story.  In '06 I was at the shelter just north of Max Patch on the AT with a couple of thrus and one girl who was sectioning.  I was wearing a pink do-rag.  The girl (Bugger was her T.N.) commented that a guy has to be very confident in his sexuality to wear a pink do-rag.

Several months later I thought of what I wish I'd said in response.  "Thanks.  I bought it before my sex-change operation.".

OKay well im not trying to complain... But I took a look at this years
bandanas and... COME ON!!! PINK????? Really? its kinda hard to see a
male hiker as masculine when he says, "Ya im walking across the U.S." while
holding a PINK Bandana. Hahaha. I dont know... I really think its awesome
they make those for us but couldnt they have made its color a little more
gender neutral?
Am I just not "SECURE" enough or do other guys have a problem with this?
