[pct-l] Sierra Resupply Strategy

I'll second that. Kearsarge pass was beautiful.

In 2006 I went KM -> independence -> vvr. This year i'll probably go  
km -> independence -> mono hotsprings. Really the only resupply points  
I probably would NOT use are lone pine and muir trail ranch (though  
the eldery lady at MTR was very sweet and they had some fuel canisters  
in the hiker box so you may think of stopping in for a quick hello).
