[pct-l] Ticks in SoCal

Tics are massively incessant.  The snows have almost completely melted away here in Maine but my neighbor already picked three fat tics off his cat .  Grim. What good is a tic anyway? Or a skunk for that matter.  Our cat got a direct hit in the face last night at 1 AM and tonight we were dunking the 15 lb. fighting critter in a vat of Woolite.
