Warm daytime temps, but still solid snow from below 8,000 ft.  More than 5' of snow at 9,000 ft., and perhaps more than 10' above 10,000 ft.  Rangers warning of avalanches due daytime to temps above 50F and 60F.  Didn't see or hear any avalanches but the surface gets soft after 10:00 am and turns mushy in the sun after noon.
