For those of you in the greater Seattle area, or Washington for that matter, who might be interested in volunteering to help maintain the PCT in Washington, please contact the PCTA’s Northern Cascades Regional Representative, Suzanne Wilson.

One of the few parts of the PCT that does not have a dedicated group of volunteers (yet) is from Government Meadows / Camp Ulrich at approximately Mile 2287 to the Border with Canada.  Help fill this 300+ mile gap in dedicated volunteer maintainers.

Her contact information can be found by going to:

http://www.pcta.org/

And clicking on "Volunteer" on the upper right hand margin
http://www.pcta.org/help/volunteer.asp

Then by clicking on "Volunteer Opportunities" in the upper left margin
http://www.trailprojects.com/projectsdatabase.html

(or just using the last link above)

You will come to the current list of regional coordinators and projects.  If you scroll down to the bottom, you'll find the North Cascades Regional Representative, Suzanne Wilson and her PCTA e-mail address.  With sufficient volunteers, more of the back log of maintenance on the PCT from Camp Ulrich to the Border can be addressed.
