[pct-l] Trail conditions

A bunch of hikers are making it through, and a bunch are skipping, it  
seems.  I came in to Idyllwild yesterday with three other bikers,  
following the pct with a gps.

You can go over apache peak if you don't like the snow fields on the  
north face, and the next few miles of trail are clear, but the last  
few miles are over snow, and route finding to devils slide can be  
difficult and draining.
