Good morning, Bill,
It’s hard to say what -- for you -- warrants a tent. I don’t use a tent
anywhere; I usually sleep under the stars without a shelter, and if I use my
shelter it’s without any screen. I enjoy sleeping out and I don’t enjoy
carrying an extra 2-3 pounds of stuff. Many people, however, always sleep
inside a fully screened tent.
