"Charged for". I love that phrase maybe I'll tell my lawyers to make sure they do.  Last year:  11 hikers pulled out of early sierra storm.  All pct herders.  Cost to them 0, cost to everyone else 600,000.00.  Priceless.  Sorry folks as I have said. before every year I spend 100 days in the sierra.  I donate to the pcta every year for a "over 500 mile pass". I can assure you I donate more than the 5 dollar rate.  And every year more and more morons do this kind of thing.  But good thing there are trail journals, people so self absorbed they think people really care.  They themselves don't even care.  Sad.
