To help moleskin, and other adhesive products, adhere to skin, wipe tincture of benzoin on cleaned skin, allow it to dry, then apply tape.

Second-best option is to use any kind of sterilized sharp implement (pocket
knife, safety pin, etc) to make a small hole near the edge of the blister
and gently work most of the liquid out.  The hole will seal up again pretty
quickly and the blister may partially re-fill overnight (thread is supposed
to prevent this), but it's better than nothing.

You probably don't want to hear this but depending on how bad your foot is,
you'd be smart to wait a day or two for it to heal first before continuing.
It's really hard for blisters to heal when you keep walking on them and if
you continue to damage your feet you might quickly end up in a condition
where you literally can't hike.  A day or two spent healing now might save
your hike later.

You also need to think about what's causing the blister in the first place
and fix that problem.  For me, shielding my blister-prone areas with a
high-quality sports tape does the trick.  Mole skin works ok for some
people.  Personally, I've found that it doesn't stick to my skin very well
so it travels after awhile, but other people get good results with it.  Duct
tape can work, with two caveats: don't apply it directly to a blistered area
because it'll take the skin with it when you remove it, and it doesn't
breathe, so be sure to take it off once in awhile and let your skin dry out.
