Now that we have an Official PCT Alternate for the Sheep and Station Fire
Sections
in Section D --- see Maps at Halfmiles site..  http://www.pctmap.net/detour/
here is the milage via the Official Reroute and the 2 alternates that were
also
discussed.

Official PCT 112.5 Miles

Via Official PCT Sheep and Stantion Alternates
Trail miles - 53.8
Road Walk   - 51.2
Total       - 105.0

Using Road Walk from Vincient Gap and joing offiical Alt at Intersection of
Punchbowl Road and Fort Tejon Road (Alt A)
Trail miles - 32.4
Road Walk   - 57.8
Total       - 90.2

Using Road Walk from South Fork Campground and joing offiical Alt at
Intersection of Punchbowl Road and Fort Tejon Road (Alt C)
Trail miles - 48.3
