I also have the Lunar Duo and am very pleased with the room, weight, rain and wind protection. I have heard good things about the Seedhouse but I have no experience with it.

I do have the philosophy of ounce miles though. Take the weight of the seedhouse subtract the weight of the Lunar Duo and multiply it by the number of miles you will have to carry that weight. That will give you an idea of how much more weight you will have to carry for your trek. You should do that with all your gear. You will find that sometimes you are willing to carry the extra weight (a cooler full of beer from your car to the picnic table while car camping) and other times you will not be willing (a copy of War and Peace for the entire length of the PCT).

Given that, I take the Lunar Duo when Piper and I are hiking together but not by myself.
