[pct-l] Keeping a trail journal - digital recorder?

The digital voice recorder I took on the Mountain Education research trip 
was by Sony and worked great! Lots of hours of recording time, lightweight 
to fit in a pants pocket, and the batteries lasted the whole two months! 
Excellent investment!
