Denatured alcohol, available at hardware stores in the paint/solvents
section, is the best fuel for alcohol stoves. If that is not available,
HEET works fine. Don't ever try to burn white gas in an alcohol stove.

If denatured alcohol is available, it is probably sold in quantities
larger than you need. Put what you don't need in a hiker box, split the
cost of the alcohol with a couple other hikers, or buy HEET instead.
