What I've got isn't a bladder-type of box wine. Its just a box, period, no bladder. With a screw top. No push button, just a screw top. It's about six inches high by two and a half inches square.

I tried. I was very successful in getting the wine out of the container but could not figure out how to get water into the container in the field in an efficient manner. Also, I used the high end boxed wine - Black Box, which has a push button rather than a screw top so I worry that the push button might get pushed in my pack.

Still, as a scientist at heart, I continue my experiments, emptying box after box of the stuff hoping to some day be sober enough to figure out how to use it as a hydration bladder. Experiment #458 will be to just leave the wine in the bladder and take that with me on the trail. Science Rules!
