Okay...this isn't funny. I'm flying down from Canada for this....what does it mean for us hikers?

Arizona news says Grand Canyon NP will shut down.  Rangers would go by foot,  horse,  helicopter,  and raft to tell all in the backcountry to leave within 48 hours.  

So yeah I guess they would shut down the trails. What you do is your call but California did this a couple years ago and levied some nice fines. 

Bummer.
