[pct-l] Backcountry Yosemite

The last week in July, I'm going to be hiking in the Yosemite backcountry for the first time in a long time and the first time in this particular section.
   Happy Isles to Illilouette Creek, across Clark Range to the Upper Merced tributaries.  Merced Lake, Vogelsang Lake to Tuolumne Meadows.  Anyone have any experience that time of year with mosquitoes and ticks?  Or any thing else I should think about?
