Greetings Hikers,

I am going to be on the PCT this Wednesday. Heading south from Bend Oregon.
Destination is Central California Coast (Monterey).
New to the trail etc. Would you offer suggestions, advice? Some are saying
its unsafe to go alone. Not exactly sure where ill be getting on and off
yet. Recommendations? I'm packing lite and will send stuff ahead.

Thought I'd enjoy a few miles of the trail in route to California.

Thanks,

Josh Hart
Bend Oregon
