[pct-l] Newbie section hike question

For your first hike I would do Etna Summit to the Klamath River at 
Seiad. Valley.  The Marbles have meadow after meadow of blooming 
wildflowers.  You may see elk.  Make a lake hopping loop over Marble 
Gap.  At the bottom are huge doug fir trees.  You will see bears running 
from you.  The cows arrive July 15th.  There is a public transit bus in 
the AM at Seiad that will take you to Yreka and you can catch a bus to 
Etna.  While waiting for the bus try the huckleberry milkshake at the 
Yreka Black Bear.  You can use the place mat for a hitch hiking sign.  
An easy hitch to your car at Etna Summit.
A hike South of Etna Summit is also sure to please.  Enjoy.
