[pct-l] Bring Guidebooks or Maps?

Hello All,I just finished reading Yogi's excellent books and an torn between just taking Halfmile's maps and a GPS or should I tear up the sections of the Guidebooks and bring them as well? Are they really that useful if I have all the GPS points in my GPS and a paper backup copy of the section I am in?
