I would like to point out that hiking backwards is not necessarily a bad
thing, particularly if you go all the way back to Hwy 20.
 
You might get to see some of your through hiker friends that were "just
behind you" and you did not see them and get to say a final good-bye.
 
Daredevil did this last year and got to see many of her friends and it was a
lot of fun for her..
