[pct-l] Half-Plank-length maps and waypoints

i have been working on a system to predict when you will arrive in Canada ... 
... my problem is the more accurately i enter my hiking pace, the less 
accurately i can know where i am on the trail.

heisenberg has not answered my emails.

I'm going to make half-half point maps. I'll make a point half way  
between each point, and half way between each of those, and half way  
between each of those... I expect that getting that first point down  
might take a really long time. In fact, if you follow my half-half  
point maps, you will discover that it is impossible to get to Canada.
