[pct-l] Mt Whitney Permit

There are also a few nice little camp spots (difficult to see from the
trail) which overlook Guitar Lake about a mile or so past the lake on the
way to Whitney. Last year (Sept) there were a couple ponds there for water
supply. This campsite was marmot-free, and the view all the way around was
fabulous.

I've always had a tent but the people who tried to sleep with a tarp or less
reported that they were kept awake all night long by the Marmots harassing
them. It seems that there are fewer Marmots on the lower side of the guitar
lake, away from the foot of the switchbacks, maybe a 20 minute walk.
