I'm a fan of Yogi's book and the Halfmile maps.  But to be honest, you can
safely hike the trail with any of them.  The "worst" are the Wilderness
press guidebook maps... and they aren't even all that bad.  In fact,*thousands
* of people have thru hiked with them.

So, you really can't go wrong.  :)
